RBI credit policy will be announced today and The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor D. Subbarao will present the annual monetary RBI Credit Policy for this Financial year 2010-2011 today on 20 April 2010.

The repo rate is the interest charged by The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on borrowings by commercial banks. The Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) is that portion of the customers’ deposits that the bank has to keep idle or in liquid form. An increase in the Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) harmfully impacts margins immediately. 35% are of the opinion that RBI will hoist it by 25 basis points, 30% believe it will be increased by 50 basis points and 35% believe it will maintain status quo.
