Court Martial against Lt Gen Prakash ordered by Army chief General Deepak Kapoor

Court Martial is ordered for chief advisor Lt. Gen. Avadesh Prakash by the Indian Army chief General Deepak Kapoor. This Court Martial is ordered due to his involvement in a land scam in West Bengal’s Sukhna cantonment.

The army chief’s decision Friday comes two days after Defence Minister A.K. Antony advised him to take “disciplinary action” against Prakash.

“The army chief has ordered for a disciplinary action against Lt. Gen. Prakash and this leads to court martial,” an official said. Via Advertisements
