Nandan Nilekani Appointed As Chairman Of Unique Identification Authority of India
Nandan Nilekani the well known person in the India's Top It Company Infosys. Today The Union Cabinet has appointed the Infosys Chief Nandan Nilekani as the Chairman of National Authority for Unique Identity. Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni said the new authority will function under the planning commission, and Nilekani will be enjoying cabinet status.
Mr. Nandan Nilekani, who is the co-chairman and board member of Infosys Technologies Ltd., will resign from both the posts, the company said in a separate statement.
